Nothin' like a lil PB and bacon

This past week, I gave an in-class presentation on start-up companies in prominent cities across the globe, including San Francisco, Toronto, Brazil, and New York.

A certain company proved that inspiration can be found in life's simplicities - peanut butter. The founder, Lee Zalben, once a budding college peanut butter sandwich conoisseur, materialized his concoctions in 1998 by launching Peanut Butter & Co. in NYC's trendy Greenwich Village.



The "Elvis" is one of his 12 different peanut butter sandwich variations, a combination of bacon, grilled bananas, and drizzled honey. Among college regulars from NYU and frequent tourists, comedian Jerry Seinfeld is also a frequent and avid enthusiast of this comfort food shop.
