Brain freeze! (a la asian pear)

Christmastime. Do reindeer, snowmen, candy canes, hot chocolate, sledding, pine trees, and the jolly old man in the red suit of Coca-Cola origins come to mind? Picture beaches and palm trees instead.

I spent 3 and a half weeks in sunny San Diego this past Christmas and immediately fell in love with this gorgeous city. Whether it was watching the sunset while perched on a cliff over-looking their shores, the abundance of eye candy and surfers galore, or the laid-back attitude of San Diegans putting you at ease, I'm in high anticipation of going back.

A definite flavor boost to my excursion was the unique boutique frozen dessert store, Yogurt World. They have a myriad of authentic-tasting frozen yogurt flavors, ranging from French vanilla, to asian pear, to sugar-free blackberry. You can also easily customize your froyo with goodies like mochi (gasp!), fresh fruit (lychee, blackberries, strawberries), nuts, and candy.

Weighing in at $0.38/oz (watch out for the toppings, they're the heavyweights), it's hard not to indulge in a delectable little sugar pick-me-up.
